The Commercial Business with Entrepreneurship study program was my main reason for studying at the University of Applied Sciences. Unlike other colleges, it offered a unique program that immediately attracted me. I would especially emphasize the friendliness of the professors, the individual approach to each student, and the mutual relationship of all colleagues, which is exceptional. I would dare to say an example of true togetherness and family. The decision to study in Knin was a key and significant turning point in my life, so I must admit that the study exceeded all my expectations.

In 2005, I enrolled in the Food Technology course at the University of Applied Sciences Marko Marulic of Knin. The opportunity to study in the city where I usually live had enormous advantages, and with excellent lecturers, it was a path to success in further education and career. After completing my professional studies at the University of Applied Sciences, I enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Zagreb, majoring in Agroecology – Microbial Biotechnology in Agriculture. I completed those two years of study within the regular deadline. With various Erasmus exchanges and education, I gained much professional experience.

I chose the University of Applied Sciences in Knin because of the program that suited my interests and the proximity to my work so that I could work at the family farm and study simultaneously. There, I got basic knowledge that later came in handy in the vineyard and cellar and gained some valuable contacts. The diploma served me well in tenders for EU funds and land concessions, where I scored better. Even today, I am closely associated with the University, i.e. we cooperate in various ways.

At the University of Applied Sciences, I acquired high-quality knowledge, which I later completed when I enrolled in the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, majoring in Milk Production and Processing, which followed the knowledge from the Polytechnic. I saw that the University gave me excellent knowledge when I came to the Faculty of Agriculture and saw that I was not different from the other colleagues who had completed the first three years at the same faculty. I strongly recommend that everyone enrol because they will gain excellent knowledge, which is a good step toward a further master’s degree at one of the universities in Croatia.
